CEMRI

A hybrid clinic system for Sime Darby Plantation: registration, appointments, records, and medical certificates, online or off.

The situation

The clinics sit far apart, and the connection is not something you can plan a day around. Records were on paper. A patient's history did not travel well between sites, and the documentation still had to stand up to healthcare review.

What we built

We sat with the clinic day before drawing the system. CEMRI runs on site without a connection and syncs when the network returns. Registration, appointments, medical records, and medical certificates live in one place, with controlled access and an audit trail.

What changed

• Less paper, and fewer errors from rewriting the same notes
• Patient history available on site, connection or not
• Documentation ready when it needs to be reviewed
• Staff could use it without a long training programme

When the internet is down we still have the patient in front of us, and the record. Care is more consistent from site to site.
