About the studio
A Kuala Lumpur practice with a long memory for how software is actually used.
Barcove builds custom software. The experience behind the work is 23 years: enough time to have seen the same kinds of systems fail for the same reasons, and to prefer a build that respects the constraint in front of it.
What the years changed
The earlier record is public sites and the work of keeping them current: Nippon Paint, Sime Darby Property, YES, PropertyGuru, Nextgreen, and a marketplace ERP for AMNIG. Later work went deeper into the operation: clinic records that must survive a dead line, a telco site editors run themselves, a medical app that had to be trustworthy in a hurry, and Sharon Spa in 2022.
The through-line is custom work. We do not begin from a package and ask the company to bend. We begin from the day, and make the software that belongs in it. AI, AR, and mobile are tools we use when they serve that day. They are not the pitch.
Who it is for
Teams with an operation specific enough that a generic product keeps leaving a gap. Plantation clinics. A national content desk. A recruiter who needs trust in the pool. A spa that has a point of view and intends to keep it. If the work can be bought off a shelf and the shelf is honest, we will say so.
